There are things that mankind deems as gross. They become an awful sight and everyone avoids them. Yet they are a huge part of our nature. It's not sex. It's not poop. It's not whatever gross thing we humans have/do/whatever.

IT IS HAIR.

What you read. Hair. Face it. We deem hair unsightly. So much that we remove it from our fanarts. Even artists avoid depicting hairy legs or armpits. Browse and look for it. There's no hair. And it's a shame.

Therefore, I'm making a crusade in acceptance of hairy characters. Armpits, legs, chest. Whatever you like...

---

And, of course no one is supposed to take that seriously! The real point is this: We need more hairy love.

Exactly what you read.

Characters when either cross-dressing or in shorts, they lack hair, as I have said. Maybe because it's gross. I don't know. But, we can make hair look cute or even funny, instead of gross or creepy.

Take a look at this:

Isn't that the most hilarious and cute thing ever?
Yes, it is. And you know it!

The truth is this: There's no Waitress Nick with hairy legs love. Or love for hairy characters (human characters, mind you). That's why I'm making this sort of cult... I mean "club". We have to support Hairy Characters. We have to spread the Hairy Love.

But we're not stopping only at Waitress Nick with hairy legs love. We want Hairy Love. Hairy Edgeworth? Of course. Hairy Sora/Tsuna/Naruto/Lelouch/insertpopularcharacter? They are welcome. The only requirements are: Hairy Love and cuteness. Remember, we want people to spread the Hairy Love, not get mental scars...
*more points if it ends up being a complete masterpiece of hilarity and fun*

It's quite easy. If you happen to draw or see a hairy character, send me a note. I'll make a list of the Hairy Love and keep track of it. I'll also make a stamp (After I learn how to make a thing like that...) and keep track. And we can spread the hairy love!

Haha, I may be able to shed some light on things here.
Fact is, hair never has been hated before the 1900's. It was a fact though that many artists avoided hair because it was too hard to do esthetically. Most simply failed to portray body hair in a natural way, and on top of that: The ancient greek had already portrayed hairless men and women as "the perfect humans". Then again, think for a second... How hard is it to make a sculpture with body hairy? I think they were good artists but I doubt they could do such a thing ^^

But even despite that, there are a number of artists who depicted things as they were and didn't shun a good handicap.
The real problem with hair started in the 1900's. Back then, the porn industry was just starting, and in porn it was the custom to shave people's body hair to increase "visibility". Soon after te porn industry became huge and millions were made in it. The media adapted itself and soon they had this image of "the perfect human" from the porn industry. People didn't ask any questions about it really. It was TV and it was new. The influence this had on the world is simply enormous. Not 50 years after the fenomenon had started it already was the norm. And while we have seen fluxes and slight shifts in belief about hair the past 50 years, the end result now is that media still professes no hair as the perfect way. Because let's face it, the porn industry still is huge. Influence people from a young age and they will follow. It makes more money for razor-producing companies as well...
So basically, it is a commercial stunt gone out of hand. By now about everyone accepts that no hair is normal and having hair on your body is a sin or something... It is a testament to the stupidity of man, but we just have to deal with it.

I'm a man, and personally, I don't mind if a girl doesn't shave her body hair. I know I wouldn't since I'm lazy xD
But on the other hand, I don't watch porn of any kind since it disgusts me. I'm not like most men are and I well aware that I'm the odd one out. Still, I don't mind being odd, it's way better than being stupid ^^
Dunno. xD
Well, Chinichan :iconchinchikurin: has already made a Hairy Nick drawing. So, maybe. We just have to work hard xD

Thanks for all that info.

Though my "speech" was more "silly" than educational. After all, we're making a some sort or cult... I mean club just to laugh. (Especially about the situations, since, to see male hairy legs, said man has to be in shorts or in boxers or crossdressing. I draw crossdressing more in a funny way, it makes me laugh. Hence the Waitress Nick drawing xD)

By the way, it's really nice to hear that last part ^^

Is that so? I usually don't talk about stuff like that since most of my friends IRL are men... And they wouldn't get it even it bit them in the ass.
Oh... D:
